Bumrah moves to number 9 in the list of bowlers after that brilliant performance where he picked up 4 wickets and completed his 100 Test wickets as well. His spell also helped India achieve a victory against England in the series which is now 2-1. Shardul Thakur also moved into Top 20 after his performance against England with twin fifties and 3 Wickets.
Chris Woakes regains his spot in top 10 of rankings in all-rounders after his brilliant performance with ball (4-55) and 50 with the bat in his comeback match.
Among the batsmen, Rohit Sharma gained 40 points and is sitting at the 5th place after his brilliant 127 in 2nd innings which led India to a victory and was given man of the match. It is the best career rating for Rohit in Test cricket, all thanks to his terrific form in this series .
Virat Kohli gained 20 points after scoring a 50 and a 44 in the 1st and 2nd innings respectively. Ajinkya Rahane drops his place due a poor performance in the series. The Indian vice-captain is out of Top 20 batsmen in the latest rankings released by the ICC.
As far as other players are concerned, Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja are placed at the 13th and 3rd spot in the batsmen and all-rounders rankings respectively.
